Meta releases Llama 4, a new crop of flagship AI models.

Meta has released a new series of AI models, Llama 4, with four variants: Llama 4 Scout, Llama 4 Maverick, and Llama 4 Behemoth. These models are trained on large amounts of unlabeled text, image, and video data, offering broad visual understanding. The development was influenced by competition from DeepSeek’s models, which outperformed earlier Llama versions. Scout and Maverick are available publicly, while Behemoth is still in training. Midjourney V7: Faster AI image generation

Midjourney has released the alpha version of its V7 image generation model, offering improvements in text prompt understanding, image quality, and feature coherence. Key innovations include the activation of model personalisation, which tailors the AI's responses to user preferences, and a new "Draft Mode" that generates images faster and at a lower cost. Draft Mode also supports voice input, allowing users to make real-time adjustments to images.

V7 operates in two speed modes, Turbo and Relax, with Turbo jobs costing more. The model introduces new features every one to two weeks, with a focus on refining user feedback and adding new capabilities.
