Facebook announces that all videos on its platform will soon be shared as reels
Facebook announced that all videos uploaded to the platform will soon be shared as Reels, regardless of length or format. The “Video” tab will be renamed to “Reels,” and users will no longer need to choose between posting a video or a reel—it will all go through a unified Reels format. Facebook says this move simplifies the video creation and publishing experience and gives access to more creative tools. The update won’t affect content recommendations and will include new controls for selecting who can view your Reels. The rollout will happen globally over the next few months, and Reels will no longer be limited to 90 seconds or vertical format. READ MORE
Why it matters and how can we adapt to this change:
Standardises Video Content: All videos will follow the same Reels format, reducing confusion around what to post and how. It’s a clear push to simplify and consolidate Facebook’s video ecosystem.
Impacts Creators: Creators now have to consider how their content fits into the Reels experience. Horizontal and long-form videos may not always look great in the Reels format, which may require new editing strategies.
Algorithm and Reach: Since Reels are pushed more aggressively by Facebook's algorithm, creators and brands could see increased reach and engagement if they adapt well.
User Experience Shift: Users may find it jarring to scroll through a mix of short and long videos in the same vertical feed, especially if content doesn’t format cleanly.
Monetisation Potential: This aligns with Meta’s broader strategy of monetising short-form video. Expect more ads and creator monetisation features to follow this change.
Sam Altman says Meta tried and failed to poach OpenAI’s talent with $100M offers
Meta has been aggressively trying to recruit top AI researchers from OpenAI and Google DeepMind, offering massive compensation packages reportedly worth over $100 million. Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, confirmed these attempts in a podcast with his brother and claimed that none of their top talent accepted the offers. He said OpenAI’s team believes more in the company’s mission and its chances of achieving Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) than in Meta’s money-driven culture. READ MORE

Tutorial: Turn Any ChatGPT Chat Into a Reusable Workflow System

Instead of just asking ChatGPT: "Help me write social media posts for my business."
Say this:
“Turn this into a reusable prompt template I can copy-paste weekly to generate new content.”
What Happens? ChatGPT will create a fill-in-the-blanks prompt like:
"Each week, I want to write 3 Instagram posts. My theme is: [topic]. This week’s focus is: [angle or trend]. My ideal client is: [audience]. The call to action is: [CTA]. Write 3 scroll-stopping posts in my brand tone."
Boom! You’ve now got a repeatable system, not just a one-time response.
Why This Is Powerful This turns ChatGPT into an automated assistant rather than a Q&A tool.
You can use it again and again, scale it with a VA or teammate or build it into a Notion doc or automation tool.

CHATGPT PROMPT (I turned ChatGPT into a community monetisation machine. People pay for outcomes, not access. Here’s 8 prompts to get you started 👇)
1️⃣ Unclear Value Proposition
Prompt:
“You are a monetization strategist for content creators and communities. Based on the following details:
Free content offering: [Insert description]
Paid content offering: [Insert description]
Target audience and their goals: [Insert audience profile].
Generate a side-by-side comparison that makes the value of the paid offer unmistakably clear.
Ensure that the differences are outcome-focused, tangible, and would incentivize a user to upgrade. Include recommendations for messaging that reinforces this distinction.”
2️⃣ Selling Too Early (or Too Late)
Prompt:
“Act as a community growth consultant. Using the following information:
Content timeline (key milestones, launch dates, engagement spikes): [Insert timeline]
Audience growth metrics (followers, subscribers, active users): [Insert data]
Trust indicators (open rates, replies, user-generated content, etc.): [Insert behaviors] determine the optimal window for introducing monetization.
Justify the timing based on signals of trust, loyalty, and readiness. Suggest soft and hard launch ideas for monetization rollout.”
3️⃣ Lack of a Clear Offer
Prompt:
“You’re a high-converting offer strategist. Based on the following inputs:
Audience niche and pain points: [Insert details]
Your unique strengths or content format: [Insert value type]
What you currently offer for free and what you want to monetize: [Insert offer]
Generate 3 monetization offers that are specific, outcome-driven, and high-converting. Each offer should include: a strong headline hook, deliverables, price point, and clear benefit to the customer. End with a recommended CTA for each offer.”
4️⃣ Fear of Alienating Members
Prompt:
“You’re a community-driven brand expert. Given the following:
Community type and vibe (tone, values, interactions): [Insert description]
Size and engagement level: [Insert numbers/observations]
What you plan to charge for and why: [Insert details]
Create a messaging strategy that positions monetization as a benefit to the community, not a betrayal. Include key language to avoid, emotional triggers to acknowledge, and persuasive reframing that keeps members feeling included and respected.”
5️⃣ Not Enough Engagement to Justify Monetising
Prompt:
“You are an engagement growth strategist. Given this data:
Current activity metrics (comments, posts, participation rates): [Insert data]
Tools/platform used: [Insert tool, e.g. Discord, Circle, Facebook Group]
User feedback or behavior patterns (if any): [Insert insights]
Identify 3 customized engagement-boosting actions that will spark interaction and increase member contributions. Recommendations should be low-lift, repeatable, and community-led. Include a way to measure each strategy's success over time.”
6️⃣ Underpricing the Offer
Prompt:
“You are a pricing strategist for online creators. Review the following:
Description of the paid offer: [Insert details]
Time investment and value delivered: [Insert time/cost breakdown]
Target customer and what they gain from this: [Insert profile/outcome]
Current or proposed price: [Insert amount] - recommend optimal pricing tiers using value-based pricing logic. Include a premium “anchor” tier and explain the psychological framing of each level.
If underpriced, show how to reframe the offer to justify the new price.”
7️⃣ No Clear Monetisation Path
Prompt:
“You are a digital business architect. Based on the following details:
Type of content or service you offer: [Insert niche/type]
Audience demographics and needs: [Insert insights]
What’s currently free vs what could be monetized: [Insert split]
Create a monetization funnel with 3 to 4 stages (e.g. lead magnet, entry product, core offer, premium tier). Include what each stage offers, its price, and how it connects to the next to maximize lifetime value and retention.”
8️⃣ Treating Members Like Customers, Not Contributors
Prompt:
“You are a community-brand strategist. Using the inputs below:
Mission of your community or product: [Insert mission/vision]
Current member behavior and involvement level: [Insert activity insights]
What you plan to charge for and how it currently feels: [Insert offer + sentiment] redesign the offer as a movement or collective, not a transaction. Output should include: new positioning statement, onboarding ritual ideas, naming suggestions that reflect belonging, and value framing that emphasizes shared purpose.”
