YouTube is plugging Veo 3 AI videos directly into Shorts

YouTube is integrating Google’s Veo 3 AI video generator into Shorts later this year. Veo 3 offers better video quality and includes audio, which could enhance how Shorts are created. Creators already use Veo 2 for features like Dream Screen, but it’s unclear what exactly Veo 3 will add or whether it’ll require a paid AI Pro or AI Ultra plan.
